Issue:
Wiper blade fouling, judder, noise during working.
Cause:
Incorrect diagnosis.
Action:
Check steps of wiper blade fouling,judder,noise:
1. Test with the "Windshield wash and wipe" mode (spray washer fluid/water). Do not use wipers when the windshield is dry, as this may cause damage to the wiper blades. Note the following two points:
 • Confirm the wiper quality according to the "wiper quality picture" attachment. If the wiper quality is higher than or equal to level 6, it is OK.
 • For the judder and noise: in the process of wiping, it is normal for the tail end of the blade to swing slightly (see attachment).
2. After judging that the degree of wiping is less than level 6, observe the appearance of the wiper blade. If there is foreign matter such as sand, gravel,soil,bird droppings,catkins,tree pulp,unknown chemicals,etc. that cause the scraping to be unclean. It is not a quality issue.
3. After confirming that the wiper blade is not damaged by foreign objects, proceed as follows
1) Cleaning the wiper blade: Remove the wiper blade. Wipe the wiper blade with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with glass cleaner and rinse. Make sure that no foreign matter remains on the wiper blade. (If there is no special glass cleaning agent, you can use liquid detergent such as detergent, hand sanitizer, etc.. Do not to use solid and rough materials such as washing powder to clean the wiper blade, which may cause damage to the wiper blade.)
2) Check whether there is contamination/damage/hydrophobicity on the surface of the front windshield (Check whether there is hydrophobicity on the surface of the front windshield according to the instructions in the attachment, and record the video.)
Under these circumstances, the windshield glass can be deep-cleaned using cerium oxide powder. Refer to: Wipers and Washers (501-16 Wiper and Washers, Diagnosis and Testing). And record the video after the cleaning.
Note:
The water repellent film will cause serious hydrophobic on the glass surface, which is easy to cause shaking and abnormal noise of the wiper blade during operation, and reduce the service life of the wiper blade. Please do not use the water repellent film on the front and rear windshield to avoid affecting the warranty.
4. After processing according to the above steps, still cann't fix the issue, please submit ePQR.
