Water ingress into trunk area from upper hatch hinge bolts (see attachment).
Potential of one bolt loose on either left or right hand hinge. Due to process conditions at time of defect
only one bolt could be loose but could be on either hinge.
Servicemeasure:
Tighten all upper hatch hinge bolts (left and right side) to a minimum of 18NM (see attachment).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
There is NO reason to change the trunk lid gasket to fix this problem!
