The "emergency crank" for the sliding/tilting sunroof or panoramic sunroof is not
available.

In all vehicles, there will be a phased discontinuation of the "emergency crank", which is needed
to close the sliding/tilting sunroof or panoramic sunroof in an emergency.
The Owner's Handbooks will be updated to account for the new situation.

It is simply a case of the "emergency crank" no longer being available in vehicles. It will still be possible to close the sunroof
using the same mechanism, but in future this will be reserved for the workshops or, for
example, the Mobile Service.
For the time being, the "emergency crank" will still be available to order through the electronic parts
catalogue. In case of doubt, the mechanism can also be operated using a commercially available Allen
screw.
