Customers complain of surface unevenness in the front left
ight side panel, such as
unevenness in the character line (attachment 1) and/or dents (attachment 2).
On the E70 and E71, the front side panel consists of thermoplastic. The behaviour
of the thermoplastic during the production process may cause the character line to be wavy or lead to dents in
the side panel.

This standard is representative of the best quality which can currently be produced. A parts replacement does not provide a solution in this case. It is not possible to carry out rectification work on the thermoplastic side panel.
