Various complaints concerning the reversing camera that require the reversing camera to be removed

Seal between reversing camera and tailgate.

In the event of reversing camera removal, all seals (BMW part number 66 53 6 969 383) with a
modification index of 5 or higher (stamped onto the inside of the seal) must be replaced with new ones without fail.
The seal could cause the tailgate to corrode.
Before replacing the reversing camera, please observe the corresponding test modules
in DISplus/GT1. An unauthorised replacement could result in the invalidation of warranty and goodwill
claims.
