Telephone bracket (carrier for eject box) in center console does not work properly. Telephone bracket
does not stay closed, grates on oddments tray and becomes scratched.
Warpage of telephone brackets in Y-direction.
Servicemeasure:
1.) Loose the two screws of the support for the telephone (see attachment 1).
2.) Tilt the part forward and glue a round 8 millimeter washer over the hole to shift the part in the
direction desired (see attachment 2). This should change the angle in Y-direction and correct the
position of the bracket inside the box.
3.) Reassamble parts.
If this solution does not work, exchange the hinge carrier only on the right side (see attachment 3 and 4).
Seriesmeasure:
Several optimizations loops already done and original problem is almost solved since 06.02.2007. The
latest parts level was checked with a good result.
