The vehicle is currently switched to terminal R. The engine does not start in response to the clutch
pedal (vehicles with manual transmission) or brake pedal (vehicles with automatic transmission)
being depressed and the SST (START/STOP button) being pressed; instead, the vehicle switches to terminal 0.
The customer has to press the SST again with the clutch pedal or brake pedal depressed to initiate
the engine start.

Design status of CAS 2/CAS 3

Do not replace any parts or carry out any work.
Inform the customer of the technical reason behind the behaviour described as follows:
The prerequisite for an engine start is a fully depressed clutch pedal (vehicles
with manual transmission) or brake pedal (vehicles with automatic transmission). The pedal concerned must
be depressed at least 0.3 seconds before the SST (START/STOP button) is pressed. These 0.3
seconds (300 ms) are required as a debouncing time for unambiguous detection of the "engine start" intention.
If the SST is pressed before the debouncing time of 0.3 seconds, the vehicle switches to
terminal 0.
