Third seat row - seat belt clips will not release from D-pillar upper. Seat belt tongue is becoming locked;
into the d-pillar slot and is very difficult, in some cases impossible, to be removed.
Only cars with third seat row (S4UBA) could be affected.
Excess Flashing located on the pressure tab inside the slot is preventing the seat belt from being
removed properly (attachment shows slot on rear side of Finisher D-Pillar, attachment 2 shows front
side of Finisher D-Pillar).
Both left and right sides could be affected. Both smaller and larger slots have been seen with flashing
inside.
Servicemeasure:
Replace Finisher D-Pillar with new part according to repair manual 51 43 259:
