The customer complains of the typical GSM humming noises and/or pulses coming from the vehicle loudspeakers when
the iPhone is inserted into the snap-in adapter. The interference noises occur regardless of which
audio source has been selected.

In the event of a customer complaint, check if a snap-in adapter (SIA) with one of the following
part numbers has been fitted:
84 10 2 151 043 with hardware index 3.0 or a more recent version (SIA for Apple iPhone 3G)
or
84 10 9 164 213 with hardware index 2.0 or a more recent version (SIA for Apple iPhone).
If an SIA with a hardware index earlier than 3.0 or 2.0 respectively has been fitted, this is to be replaced with an SIA with a later hardware index. No old hardware versions in the EPC (electronic parts catalogue) are available to order.
